After working in the management of shopping centres, in the development of inner-city multiplex cinemas in Germany and Poland, and as managing director of ZDF Media Park project development, Anke Schwarzwälder founded Blackforesters in 2003. Her background includes training as a travel agent and a degree in business administration (Nürtingen – Germany, University of Applied Sciences).

In order to satisfy our high standards of quality, we have built up an international network of partners. We maintain regular contact and work successfully together. We have been convinced of the performance of our partners in numerous projects.

Vision XS Vision XS has developed the experience analysis tool X-Mod™, and since 2007 Blackforesters has exclusive use of this tool in the German-speaking area. Psychologists, mathematicians and experienced operators make up the team in England. They bring their specific know-how to our projects and work continuously on the further development of X-Mod™. Our benchmarking database, made up of all the projects analysed by X-Mod worldwide, continues to grow. In addition, Chris Rumbell (Cape Town, South Africa) and Chris Webster (UK) of C&C Strategic Leisure Consultancy as well as Sylvia Matiko of A Different View (Nashville, Tennessee, USA) from the international network of partners also contribute.
